On November 23rd, East Limerick boys played South Limerick in the Sarsfield Cup. The match was played in very wet conditions under lights in the Gaelic Grounds. East Limerick went in at half time drawing with favorites South Limerick with a score line of 1.0 to 0.3 but South Limerick rallied in the second half and found their form with a final score line of 1.05 to 1.01. The East Limerick side done themselves and their schools proud in reaching the final.
