There was a dramatic finish in Caherconlish in the east Limerick derby, with a minute to go; the score was level before John Bourke scored a 40 yard point on the run to send over the deciding score. The result leaves Oola with five points out of six in group 2 and a good chance of making the at least the quarter-finals.
Oola settled nicely in the first half playing against a strong wind.  A Josh Ryan free along with points from Darragh O'Donovan, Richie
English and Pakie Bourke opened Oola’ s account as they led 4 point to no score.  John Ryan opened Cappamore’s account with a free.  However, Oola kept pressing and stretched further ahead through points from O'Donovan, Josh Ryan (free) and Thomas Hayes before Bill Creamer and Con Berkery brought it back to 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.
Cappamore opened the scoring in the second half with a point from a free.  A point from John Bourke and a Richie English goal left the score at 1-8 to 0-5. Oola added further scores through another John Bourke point, along with points from Pakie Bourke, Josh Ryan (free) and Josh Ryan (45). Oola were firmly in the driving seat when Richie English again collected off Darragh O'Donovan for his second goal. However Cappamore scored 2 goals from play and converted a late penalty leaving it all level before John Bourke scored the winning point.
