This week’s winner was Joe O’Grady, Jackpot was not won. Next week’s draw will take place on Saturday 6th Feb in Marie Cullen. Jackpot is 1320 30 cards remain.

Tickets cost €2 or 3 for €5 and are available from O Donovan’s Shop, Hogan’s Bar or from Peter Gardiner or Liam Ryan.
 


Membership:
Oola GAA membership is now due for 2016 and can be paid to Registrar Michael Ryan (bob). Adults €20 Juveniles/u18s: €10


Development Draw:
Anybody wishing to join Limerick development draw 2016 please contact Peter Gardiner.  Any monies left outstanding from 2015 should be paid to Peter as soon as possible.
 

Dinner Dance:
Oola GAA dinner dance took place on Saturday the 30th Jan in Ballykisteen Hotel.  A medal presentation to Oola county intermediate champions by Paul Stapleton took place on the night.   There were presentations to Joe Meagher and David Quirke who represented Oola on the Limerick football team that played Kerry in the 1965 Munster Football Final.  Oola GAA also presented awards to Doon players Darragh O’Donovan, Richie English, Pat Ryan Eoghan McNamara and Dean Coleman on winning the U21 Hurling championship.

The club would like to thank Ballykisteen Hotel, Traffic and everybody that supported the event and making it an enjoyable night.

 

Senior Football Training:

Training will take place this Thursday 4th of Feb in Cullen 8-9 on astro pitch. Players are asked to be ready for 8 o’clock and are required to wear runners or moulded studs.


Coaching:

Foundation Level coaching course hurling and football for anybody interested in coaching or just helping your own children at home next Friday 5th Feb in hall Oola 7 o clock to 9.30 and Saturday 9.30 to 1.30 in Doon. You need to attend both to get cert. Contact Orla O'Donovan, Tom Bourke, Richard Bowles or John Stokes to book place.

A Child Welfare Workshop will take place in Oola Community centre on March 14th. Those involved with underage teams are encouraged to attend.
