County Minor A Final – Oola 3-5 Galbally 1-3

Oola earned a place in the final by defeating Claughan/Old Christians on Tuesday 3rd November 3-7 to 1-12 in Martinstown. Oola then faced Galbally in the County Final on Sunday 8th of November in Hospital.

Played in dreadful conditions Oola stamped their authority in the game scoring 3-4 to 0-1 in the first half. Galbally fought back in the second half scoring 1-2 to Oola’s 1 point. However Oola were not going to give up their lead and won the match comfortably in the end.

The Sarsfield Cup East Limerick Team 2015 was picked through schools within East Limerick via training trails which took place over the last number of weeks. The following were picked from Doon National School: Luke Heuston, Kevin Maher, Adam English & Tomas Lynch. Pick from Oola National School was Colin O’Grady. Well done boys. The East Limerick team played South Limerick in Herberstown on Thursday the 4th of Nov. Despite losing by a couple of points our own Colin O’Grady scored a wonderful goal.

East Limerick will face West Limerick in Rathkeale at 11:45 on Thursday the 12th November.

Munster Intermediate Semi Final:

All roads lead to Kilmallock on Sunday 15th November where Oola Intermediates face Cork champions Carrigaline. Throw in is a 2pm all support for is great appreciated.
